10 New Catalogues Reviewed

- by Michael Stillman

New catalogues reviewed for October.

For October we have received 10 new catalogues to review. David Lesser Fine Antiquarian Books is back with a new catalogue of Americana. Back of Beyond Books focuses on the American Southwest, but throws in the Arctic of all places as well. Plaza Books heads south, not north, to bring us a catalogue on Mexico.

Susanne Schulz-Falster Rare Books brings a collection of books from the European Enlightenment. Sophie Schneideman Rare Books offers the Auchincloss Fine Press Collection. Peter Harrington has a wide selection of modern literature. Aleph-Bet Books presents 600 more children's and illustrated books. The Ten Pound Island Book Company has a maritime collection including something about a man almost eaten by cannibals (or so he claimed). Antiquariats Kuhn and Banzhaf have combined to present many items related to astronomy. Gert Jan Bestebreurtje Rare Books offers a miscellany.
